Nick Cannon appeared on KTLA News to talk about, among other things, his wife Mariah Carey and her feud with fellow “American Idol” host Nicki Minaj. The two have snapped at each other several times throughout the season and Nicki recently blasted Mariah via Twitter. Nick says that Mariah saw all of this coming. “The amazing thing is that my wife, foreseeing all of this, tried to tell the network. She said, i don’t think this is going to work, I’m afraid Nick explained. “She said, ‘I don’t need this. I’m doing this for the brand of American Idol, which she has been a fan of and [she] loves the show, but [they're] kind of gonna take this in the wrong direction like one of those reality shows. She’s said, I didn’t sign up to be on ‘Love & Hip Hop.
Jennifer Lopez was whisked off the set of a music video shoot in Ft. Lauderdale this weekend after three gunshots were heard. Her boyfriend Casper Smart walked her to a nearby trailer. According to reports, the incident occurred near Ft. Lauderdale Beach Park while Lopez and rapper Pitbull were shooting the video in the southern end of the park. Security officials said that Lopez was “secured inside her vehicle.” But an “ET” reporter says he was interviewing the star when the shots were fired. “Security scrambled her away,” claimed the reporter. So far, no arrests have been made.
