A note from @JayJammerYDC …

“Jay Jammer, one of the six from a group called YDC. YDC means Young Dreamers Club. I was born in Toronto and raised in Brampton. I was always the quiet one out of my friends. Before rapping, when I was in fifth grade, I use to write poems. I would call myself The Joet fusing the first letter in my name with the word poet. I still continue to write poems but music is where my heart is. I actually wasn’t all that into music until i was riding with my dad and sister in the car and I heard Busta rhymes come on the radio. His was of rapping got me interested in music. After that i went deeper into music listening to camron, juelz santana ( all of dipset), lil wayne, tyga, nas, kanye, jay z, biggie, 2 pac, eazy e and many more. They type of music i listen to is way different then the type i make. I grew up to hearing Ransom, Jadakiss, styles P( all od D-Block and The Lox), Ghostface, bun b, and others in the gangsta rap genre. The people that inspire me is Andre 300 with his swag and able to make lyrics that can take your mind into thinking a whole different way, Lupe fiasco and Pharrel for there style, Tyga for his attitude, Cassidy for his way with lyrics and many more. One day i want to be able to say that I worked with these artist. I want YDC to become more then a rap group. We are also working on a clothing line too.”
