What is the Global Attack Mixtapes Series in a Nut shell?

Posted by: Scott

The Global Attack Mixtapes Series is a newly launched music entrainment source destined to take compilation-style recordings to yet unseen worldwide heights – and beyond. The Series was created by entertainment and business impresario Elevated Scott (Scott McDowell); since its conception, Scott and his company Elevated Entertainment Solutions, LLC.

The creative direction and concept of Global Attack Mixtapes is a first of its kind, a pioneering effort for hip hop music worldwide. Scott wanted to take an outside the box approach to the traditional mixtape concept, which is exactly how this series came together. When one thinks of Mixtapes, they think of DJ’s dropping crazing sounds and voice drops, then mixing and scratching. Traditionally mixtapes of this design target an underground audience, not a mix of established Top 40 artists or unsigned indie up-and-comers from all over the world. Global Attack Mixtapes changes that landscape immediately.

Elevated Scott likes to call the series a “HYBRID” of 2 popular music brands: compilation series “NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL MUSIC”, and the most downloaded mixtapes in the world – Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes. Global Attack Mixtapes takes the international commercial appeal of “NOW THATS WHAT I CALL MUSIC” brand and blends it with the aggressive grassroots marketing of Coast to Coast. Both ideas together create an unmatched framework of sound, creativity, and global marketability.

The Global Attack Mixtapes Series prides itself on worldwide commercial appeal, which separates it from traditional mixtape outlets. Tracks within its catalog feature major American recording artist Rza, Jadakiss, Kid Capri, Gucci Mane, Styles P, Naughty by Nature, Wu-Tang Harlem 6, and Cory Gunz; they’re joined by various emerging artist from such locations around the globe as Belgium, Paris, Tokoyo, United Kingdom, Korea, and Kawait, with more from United States and beyond getting joining this series daily! It may only be a matter of time before the ambitious Global Attack series is comprised of at least 1 artist from every city in every country around the world.

The executives behind The Global Attack Mixtapes Series considers each contributing artist a partner with the project, for the viral marketing campaign to be successful it is imperative each artist uses all available tools to help build awareness of Global Attack Mixtapes.

Elevated Scott says, “I think to cover every surface of the universe, as we all know things always work better when we work together. Global Attack Mixtapes A&R and Account Executives are scouring the Internet through various social network sites and industry relevant sites – Reverb Nation, Sonic Bids, Facebook, Myspace and Twitter – looking for serious artists that are ready to take their music to the next level. When you treat the entertainment industry as a business you will get business results. It’s called show business, not show fun.”

The Global Attack Mixtapes Series will release a new volume the first Friday of each month, digitally distributed through Island Def Jam Digital; marketing and promotion for the release handled by Elevated Entertainment Solutions LLC and Entaprise Entertainment. The official blog site for Global Attack –  www.International-HipHop.com – reached over 110 countries the first two and half months after its initial launch, and growing rapidly daily.

The official website www.GlobalAttackMixtapes.com includes a built in social network for fans to become frequently-returning users. While there they can interact with one another, read monthly newsletters, post in Forums,  an exclusive mp3 player, all with instant Twitter and Facebook access for instant connection to their other favorite online social networks.

The Global Attack Mixtapes has already caught the attention of many notable industry heavyweights, and its rapid increase in press suggests it will not be long before this series becomes a household name around the world!

Global Attack Mixtapes pays each artist placement quarterly royalty payments through a wire transfer by means of a 60/40 split through a royalty and distribution agreement in favor of the artist. Each artist with a tracks placed will be paid a .60 percent of sales per track placed per unit sold. Global Attack Mixtapes is not only a way for artist to help build their online presence and bring a record to life but also a way for artists to profit from their music. Global Attack Mixtapes is a platform designed to align up-and-coming/lesser known artists with major recording artist; each take part in International marketing and promotions and worldwide distribution along with reception of quarterly royalty payments. Global Attack Mixtapes is a nonexclusive distribution and marketing outlet to help recording artists build their online presence and bring their records to consumers.

The New Element Enters the Global Attack Mixtape Series

New Element

New Element

The New Element are three artists from the Peekskill and Bronx areas of New York, and as for those who have experienced, that can be no easy road. Rashad Houston, Daniel Malave, and Steven Burns are The New Element, and their three different paths of life and the hardships they offer are what make this group unique in the Hip Hop scene. Steven Burns was born and raised in Peekskill New York; simply a son, brother, and friend he found his exposure to music at a young age. With his mother blasting music every day, and his father playing soul and classical genre, it gave him a balanced passion for music that helped him quickly find a sense of Oneness with Music. Steven’s motivation is his Family, his brothers and sisters, and Of course his biggest motivation and inspiration is his Mother. His writings did not only make him a better man, but they allow Steven to be a possible inspiration for others. Rashad Houston was born and raised in Westchester County (The 914) & the Bronx, New York. After high school he joined the U.S. Navy & was stationed in San Diego, California. During his time in the military Rashad traveled the open seas & visited numerous countries around the World. He had dreams of becoming a Navy SEAL & became friends with many, but things took a turn for the worse. Unfortunately, during this time he got injured & other situations ended his career in the military, Rashad was honorably discharged in 2008. In July 2008 life changed drastically for him when his son was born 3 months premature. He weighed 1 lb. 12 oz. and stayed in the hospital’s NICU for 70 days. Rashad never missed a day with his son, and after his release he promised his son he would take care of him every day. Everything his son went through changed Rashad’s life forever, and those emotions are illustrated through his music. After a few relocations Rashad and his family have settled in Virginia, as his wife continues to defend our nation. He is a loving husband and a dedicated father, a very patriotic man who upholds military values each day of his life. From poetry to short stories, Rashad has always been a writer, and he uses his experiences as a driving force in his music. His vision for this generation is to bring back the essence of Hip-Hop, The Golden Age. Daniel Malave was born in the Bronx, NY. Raised on hip hop and salsa music, it was hard for him not to become a fan of the culture and scene that surrounded him. Before high school, Daniel started to write music as a hobby more than anything, but as time went by he realized how vital music was in his life. Hip Hop saved him from the wrong path many choose living in the tough neighborhoods of the South Bronx. He has been at it ever since with his unique Bronx flow inspired by some of the best. From Big Pun to Jay-Z and Big L, the musical influence was enough to make him dream big and strive for the top; he has come to know himself as DM. Along with visions from fellow group members Steven Burns and Rashad Houston, The New Element came together. Recently the three have signed to the record label F.A.C.T. Entertainment, which they helped start along with Manager and brother, Jay Negron. They plan on changing the world and entertaining their listeners heartily. You could expect their music to create a feel good sensation to move your body and give insightful stimulation to your mind. We encourage everyone to join us as we create a whole new thought process for all of our beloved Hip Hop culture. So take some time to sit back and listen, because the resurrection of true hip-hop has begun through innovation, inspiration, and creativity in The New Element’s music. Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka’s Turn For A Reality Show?

Posted by: Scott

Waka Flocka and Gucci Mane @ Hot97Summerjam

Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka are preparing for a reality TV series. Gucci and Waka found a way to show all the fans they are not just hardcore thugs. The series will display to their fans, parts of their everyday lives including studio time, shows and more.

Waka Flocka w/ 1017 Brick Squad T

Gucci really wants everyone to understand that although they live the  “Rockstar” lifestyle, they have hearts, spread love, help the community great amounts and most importantly, they have families. The Brick Squad boys are currently talking to B.E.T concerning the show with Gucci’s manager, Debra Antney.

Gucci Mane Leaning On A Louie Vuitton Luggage

Gucci thinks the project will bring a frenzy of laughs. He’s believes people will see it as a thug with a show all because of the image associated with his musicbut will be surprised at the content. We will have to see how things pan out due to arrest made during the raid at Waka Flocka’s house.

Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka want to show fans the other side of their lives by means of a reality TV series. The two southern rappers insist that despite what fans hear in their lyrics they aren’t hardcore thugs and they think that this will give people the opportunity to see that they “got heart.”

“We show everyday life,” said Gucci while talking to RumorFix. “What we get into in [the] studio and at our shows. We just ordinary people with a crazy Rock N Roll lifestyle.”

“Because of the music we make, people think that’s what we do all the time — but we got a real family life. We got heart. We do a lot of things for the community and we love each other.”

The Brick Squad rappers are reportedly in talks with BET to air the currently untitled show, which will also feature Waka’s mother and Gucci’s manager Debra Antney.

“I think they’ll get a laugh more than anything,” said Gucci about fans’ anticipated reaction to the show. “I’m not serious all the time. People think we are thugs because of our music.”

In other news, Gucci is currently facing jail time after being hit with probation violation charges stemming from a raid on Waka’s home in December.

Yung Ro

Yung Ro

Considered multi-cultured, Yung Ro’s roots are made up of African, Latin and Asian descent with family in Tokyo, Japan. The eighteen-year-old rapper prides himself on producing the sort of vapid club bangers that make hip-hop heads cringe and record executives swoon. Yung Ro, from St. Louis has a  new single, “Fresha Den a Mall,” that is in rotation on local station Hot 104.1 and up to number six on the R&B/Hip-hop singles chart. His extremely catchy “Donk Dat”, peaked at number three in 2009. Still, Yung Ro remains unsigned and is the CEO of his own label, Black Pearl Entertainment, named after the tattoo shop on Olive Boulevard owned by his family.

Now the young phenom rap star has just put the finishing touches on his fourth album, “Ideology of a Trendsetter”. Yung Ro branded it a project because the young business mogul expressed how he incorporated music, merchandising, and endorsements into it. Yung Ro says the project has all the ingredient of a trendsetting movement especially with his hit single,” Candy Gurl”. As a teen having trendy concepts is essential for a successful career. Yung Ro will be featured on The Global Attack Mixtape Series. Welcome aboard.

Who is Elevated Scott?

Posted by: Scott

Scott E. McDowell is no lackadaisical man.  His Facebook page teams with wall posts of him in videos around the world, galleries of pictures, and some of the hottest logos I have ever seen.  Posted there is a supreme long biography of everything the man has going on.

Scott and Three 6 Mafia

Scott and Three 6 Mafia

I really don’t know where to start… Scott is a simultaneous man.  From what I see, there is no stopping or slowing down.  He lives the life of a multi-millionaire celebrity – whether he is or not has yet to be discussed.  To the left, Elevated Scott is shown in the back with Three 6 Mafia in Vegas, so we can speculate he’s got money to travel everywhere.

I guess I’ll start with the latest project – the one that got Entaprise Entertainment interested. The Global Attack MixTape Series. The concept is to find all top Hip Hop artists around the world, pack into one giant volume, and get a major label (Island Def Jam Digital) to distribute it out digitally.   This project is destined to blow sky high – using Scott’s skills in booking after-parties and connecting sponsors with artists.

Global Attack MixTape Series

Global Attack MixTape Series

After working in advertising with major companies like CBS Sports Radio, Scott decided to get into the music industry as a booking agent and a consultant.  The talent for product placement was discovered by his mentor Jimmy Mac, owner of Bull Dog Bikes.  It wasn’t long before Scott began his partnership with AKON’s label, Konvict Musik.  Product placement, if you don’t know, is connecting an artist with a sponsor and visa-versa.  Cross-marketing – that’s what it’s all about.  He’s the cross-marketing king.

Such is the ways of his company Elevated Entertainment Solutions – elevating the artist and sponsor together, solving the universal problems of marketing and monies.  Already, the Global Attack Mix Tape is set to launch in London, Belgium, New York City, and Los Angeles.  Time for promo tours.  Stay tuned.

Who is Elevated Scott?

By the looks of it, he’s the man with the grand music industry plan.
