Tall Guy Short Guy are the both bad-ass, and hilarious. They are both witty and stupid. They are both Tall and short. They are comedy hip hop duo, consisting of a tall guy (TG13) and short(er) guy (ShortyG) that write and produce all of their own music, while putting on crazy live shows, and starting ridiculous amounts of ruckus.
TG13 and ShortyG, the two surreal personas that make up Tall Guy Short Guy, are ignorant, moronically dumb and dense suburban “thugs”. With their unexplainable (being from the suburbs and all) accents and dense outlook on the world, they also dress stupid, talk stupid, and lack any intelligent insight.
Their music is explicit yes, and it is also in your face, yes…
TG13 (Ryan Long) and ShortyG (Jarek Hardy) have a combined presence about them that draws fans in, and keeps them wanting more, like a heroin junky craves rubber hoses. And they have independently gained over 40 000 hits on the video for their first topical single “Fucked Like A Bitch”!!!!
Their song topics are relatable, and their lyrics topics range from Fast Food joints that they hate, to getting in trouble, to Annoying Girls that they’ve slept with in the past. They have songs like “I’m A Man”, which rips on college frat boy types across the globe, and their song “Annoying Girls” tells of the common traits of girls that these two Romeos find annoying.
But above their songs, it is Tall Guy Short Guy’s insane, and entertaining live show and hilarious videos that has given them such a reputation -videos containing members of such well known Canadian groups as Ill Scarlett, Stereos, USS, and DogBus.
They come on stage in rollerblades, and sing songs whilst baking in an easy bake oven. They have hilarious scratch solos with fake DJ’s, and they bring a 43 year old homeless man onstage to dance for their entire set while performing. Tall Guy Short Guy’s set is a comedic thrill to watch from start to finish, and their is no telling what this cleverly moronic twosome will/can/try to accomplish on the near future.
Gully Davis born and raised on the mean streets of Brooklyn in the heart of East New York, where only the strong
survive. He began rapping at the young supple age of eleven. May 8, 1999 a tragic turn of event occurred when he was in accident in Staten Island being hit by a truck and a bus left young gully in a coma, it took a lot of strength, but he managed to bounce back. More enthusiastic and more focused he began to take rap more seriously. With the help of Asiah Lewis he started ghost writing for known artist and besides recording in the cutting room he also worked for bad boy entertainment that was only until he decided to become an artist himself.
After losing his oldest and favorite brother, he felt as though he had to make away for his family with that as his motivation he headed for greatness with no turning back he continues to move forward with only success on his mind in his words “The stakes are high all the chips are on the table” so with that said much love to 718 the producer.
Born Ruler is one of today’s reminders in Hip-Hop, letting us know that the conscious MC didn’t go anywhere. Born
Alfred T. Farrar, 3RD, in 1977 in Bronx, New York, his single parent environment was the perfect condition to form the MC that he is today.
Coming of age in a time when Hip-Hop was showing and proving its power to dominate the world. Born has kept his fingers dusty digging in crates at a very early age. As a child and young teen he experienced various musical talents while traveling up and down the East coast.
Located in Richmond, Va he dominates local MC’s in rhyme battles, Born has a gift for preserving the feeling that was once felt in the atmosphere of Hip-Hop. He is what you would call MC/ Producer, choosing to have MC placed first. Born Ruler has written, produced, recorded and mixed all of his own music and beats. Born has produced albums for groups such as The A-Alikeminds, Project Feed the
Baby, and also a project called Dark Matter.
So when you hear any music done by Born Ruler, you leave knowing that the Bronx was here. His beats are very universal and have a Boom Bap Hip-Hop foundation. He says, “He is here to bring the passion back to conscious rhyme”. Many people who have heard Born’s work mostly reply with, “Hey, where can I find more Hip-Hop music that sounds like this”.
You can find Born every Friday from 9pm-11pm at the Richmond University Radio WDCE, on The Bumrush Show. He is known as the resident MC.

The Las Vegas/New York native has been singing since she could talk and was first ushered into the national spotlight as a member of the trio Lyric (formerly signed to J Records). The group released a few singles, did some touring and even had one of their songs featured onNBA Live games. However, the light dimmed quicker than expected when Lyric was released by the label. Trina B aka Diamond Sidora determined to continue to shine with or without the help of a major label went back to the drawing board, reinventing herself and sharpening her skills. She ditched the “we” for an “I” and began making major moves as a solo artist to ensure that her moniker is on the lips of music lovers henceforth and forever more.

“I just love everything about music. How it can evoke different emotions or take you back to a certain time and place in your life. For me to be able to have that affect on people is a great thing. I love the rush I get from being on that stage. It’s truly one of the greatest feelings in the world,”
Always remember you waste more energy being negative, surrounding oneself with negative people. Than being POSITIVE and surrounding oneself with POSITIVE people!

TOGO/ James Wonder
Togo was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and then he moved to Harlem when he was around 14 years. Music has
always played a major role in his life as a youth. He grew up observing is older bother, who was an aspirating DJ at the time, spin, mix, and play free-styled urban reggae music. It wasn’t until he moved to the upper west side housing shelter called (V.O.A) when he discovered one of his true talents as a M.C.
Togo became aware of his talent when he came across a group of kids who used to freestyle rhymes off the top of theirs heads, this ability quickly gained the interest of this young man. It wasn’t until he traveled to Japan at the age of 21 when he began to take his talent more seriously.
The social, economical, and cultural conditions that Togo faced while living in Japan were extremely difficult for him. He was homeless, he had no one he could truly call his friend, and the language barrier is what consistently caused issues on a day to day basis.
The difficult problems that Togo faced made him gain a certain connection with his Lord, which he came to know, that God was his only true friend. He latter met a young nail stylist who decide to accommodate him when she found out that he was homeless. She latter became is wife and mother of his 2 children, 5 years after living together in Japan.
To talk about his music.
His music speaks of peace, justice and equality, instead of the normal bling bling flashy culture that blinds the youth form the righteous path. His music also brings a sense of hope to the current sounding hip hop scene which focuses mainly on materialistic living and which pulls and extracts from the original essence of why hip-hop was created.
He believes hip-hop or the form of rhyming was formed by the struggle and hard times that the pioneers of the hip-hop industry faced as youngsters, growing up in broken down neighborhoods & houses. The pioneers then formulated this Rap Music or the Hip Hop culture to release the social and economic tensions from their hearts and minds. They also used this Rap music as a sort of tool which could be used to not only speak out against, but fight against injustice and the poor living conditions which they faced.
Togo believes that today’s music contradicts it’s original format and he’s here to bring it back on track.
