MIC’HAEL TATUM GOES THRU TRAGEDY BUT STILL KEEPS HIS FOCUS TO BE ABLE TO SHINE ON THE GLOBAL ATTACK MIXTAPE!

Posted by: Scott

Mic’hael Tatum was born on February 21, 1980. Tragedy struck him at the tender age of 3 as he literally watched his

father killed in his front yard over a drug deal gone wrong. However; it wasn’t until he was 10 years old that he was told the man was actually his biological father, and not his “uncle” as he had been previously told. His mother was also absent in most of his childhood, due to circumstances that were beyond anyone’s control. So without a mother or father, basically an orphan, Tatum was raised in and out of various foster homes. He was labeled a loser and a nothing, look down upon his whole childhood. In spite all of these negative things in his life; he changed his way of thinking and way of living. In 1998, Tatum graduated from Petersburg High School. Growing up in Washington, D.C. and the Northern Virginia area he was influenced by all types of music. Music has always been in his blood. It has been an escape from reality for him. His drug of choice, you could say. What started out as a book of poems he started writing in the 2nd grade has turned into a testimony of his life. His music is heart-felt and brutally honest. His rhymes tell a story of heartache, pain, and also overcoming trials and tribulations. Tatum joined the United States Army, following in the steps of his grandfather, step-father, and uncles. He has been to Germany, France and also did more than a few tours in Iraq. Tragedy struck once again while in Iraq. He was not only stabbed in the side and shot twice, but also hit with an IED (improvised explosive device) Bomb. So he is definitely the living proof of A SURVIVOR! On September 1, 2000, Tatum married Denise Watkins (Denise Tatum) and they have three beautiful children: Mic’Kiya age 9; Mic’Kayja age 6, and MicKaKari age 4. He has also in recent years reconnected with his mother and father.

30 year old Funeral Home Director that has made many accomplishments by the age of 25 like successfully owning his own funeral home, served in the U.S Army while handling mortuary affairs and more.

One of Bannao’s biggest accomplishments which led him to The Global Attack was the founding of his record label, “Mossburg Records”. Before shutting down Mossburg Records, Bannano managed to release the label’s compilation album, “Lyrical Contenders” hosted by Mike Pratt with features including Ruff Ryders Drag-On and former D-Block member J-Hood.

TONY CADILLAC brings AAM Inc. to the Global Attack Mixtape Series!

Posted by: Scott

AAM INC. LOGO

Born from the mind of an ambitious and young 18 yr old, AAM was just an idea brewing up and waiting to take its

AAM Inc.

course. It was not until Anthony “Cadillac” Sisson happened to cross paths with an undiscovered artist that went by the name of “Hex” who shared the same vision. Taking thoughts from mind to pen, Hex started a collaboration with 2 other aspiring artists, G.I. and Lilly whom both gained a musical appreciation for hip-hop in the suburbs of South Jersey. Together they worked on an unreleased single named ‘Escape’ which was a compilation of a home made beat & raw emotions expressing their angst to escape the grasp of the small town of Fennville. From there, the small group became a tight knit family kept together by their passion for music and the hunger for money.

It’s All About Money (AAM), no doubt but from behind the mic the artists from AAM express the struggle of growing up deprived of the finer things in life. Unlike most cliche’ artists spitting about their mass amount of money they’re only dreaming of. AAM raps about the real struggle and hardships of working for it. In the world of music AAM uses cleaver lyrics and raw emotion as their main weapon in the musical draw between other artists.

AAM Inc. CREW

All about money is the new movement to move with. AAM is coming on strong with no signs of stopping, taking over the world speaker by speaker, headphone by headphone. AAM has been, is, and forever will be real and all about the money. In this world of fake words & fabricated feelings, dare to listen to something real.

All about money then, All about money now, all about money forever- Hex, G.I., Lilly, Tony

BNE are artists and producers and business men who deserve to shine on the Global Attack Mixtape Series

Posted by: Scott

THE MARXMEN

Although some may associate the name “BNE” (Breakin’ N Enterin’) to strictly criminal activity, it is not confined to one definition and like anything else this duo does, it was strategically planned, and besides the obvious, it has and will always take on many different meanings. BNE enters back into the lab with their Most Anticipated Album project – “Divide & Conquer”. Scheduled to release in the third quarter of 2011, it is set to provide many different concepts; sounds, plots, themes, and most importantly variety and individuality. Something that is often overlooked in today’s hip hop genre. It will be a collaborative of life-told stories, creative rhyme play, heart to heart messages and social economics.
Many of you may know this Hip-Hop duo from the city of Boston for their East Coast swagger, cocky technique and specialdeliveries. BNE started in the music industry as street team promoters for Def Jam/JMJ and has carried their entertainment career into motion picture work. If you’ve seen BNE perform, you know that their live presence is undeniable and fans have raved about their appearances in several venues throughout the United States. They’ve performed alongside; Fat Joe, Queen Latifah, Public
Enemy, Canibus, KSolo, Red Café, Kardinal Offishall, Run DMC, DMX and others. They truly seem to capture the audiences’ attention, and refuse to perform under any other circumstances. The love they have for the culture not only shines through their music, but also through their expressions and techniques. They have been and will be a force to be reckoned with now and in the future. Not to mention their new found passion for acting (see filmography below).

IN THE HOODZ OF MASSACHUSETTS

Brolick Stevenson: The definition of a gritty street scholar with loads of rhyme talents. As a Native Bostonian with Georgia roots, Brolick has ripped the scene with irregular yet witty verses of true reality mixed with morality and perseverance. Fixated with the pioneers of “rap” and the Hip-Hop culture, one can always find some everyday suffering, consequences and knowledge in his delivery and concepts. Brolick has the mind frame of an observant soul, not the demonstrator. He makes wise choices of word play and delivers carefully plotted techniques on each subject. But, on the other hand, he is the pro-active gut-puncher, the wild storm with a mix of charm and game.
B.L.I. (Ben Livin It): Is what u would call an artist, not a rapper. Born in Brooklyn, he has been both surrounded and influenced by music his entire life. His father was a musician, and at a young age he was writing music and playin’ the saxophone. B.L.I. became what nice and smooth would call “a hip hop junkie”. Although influenced by many of the pioneers, it wasn’t until EPMD’s “you got’s to chill”, that he realized how much the hip hop culture made him not only want to listen, but be apart of it. B.L.I. is
creative, gritty, rude and describes the more irrational & out of this world side of the mc. He plots patiently awaiting his epiphany…and once arrived continuously spits pictures for you to follow. The combination of both is what makes this mc so dangerous.

When stewed in the same pot, Brolick & B.L.I. refuse to set boundaries on where they can go and what they can do. Expect a rhyme pattern different from most other artists.

DEZ-Nado puts Jacksonville Florida on the Global Attack Mixtape Series

Posted by: Scott

Born and raised in Jacksonville, FL, Dez Nado was introduced to what was then just the hobby of rapping at the

NO HANDS PROJECT

youthful age of 11. Since then, he has grown into an authentic prospect in the rap game. Generating a fan base by plugging his own projects as well as booking and performing his own shows, it is evident that Dez Nado is breaking out of the local scene and is shining nationally. Not only does he stand out lyrically, but he’s also a student, former DJ of his own college radio show, producer, self-started CEO, and publisher. His name (The Definition of Effort and Zeal iN Ambition and Dedication to Opportunity) is much more than just a name; it has become something that he lives by. Currently, Dez is pushing his latest release, “No Hands”, a primarily underground mixtape album that has been generating a buzz online (http://www.datpiff.com/profile/deznadohttp://www.myspace.com/deznadoand facebook; search ‘Dez Nado’). He’s also planning a promo Spring Break Tour promoting “No Hands” and his upcoming 2011 Album “No Hands 2”. His music videos (www.youtube.com/deznado), online TV shows (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/vipsquadtv), and thousands of plays/views accompanying both have all become indicators of Dez Nado’s focus on progression and ever-growing popularity. With a steady, unshakeable concentration on success, Dez is not just a threat, he’s a pro

COREY DRUMZ the youngest son of 1981 BMI Song Writer Of The Year, Larry Banks and soul singer Jaibi joins the Global Attack

Posted by: Scott

COREY DRUMZ

Born Corey L. Banks, Drumz (formerly known as CeStyle) is the youngest son of 1981 BMI Song Writer Of The Year, Larry Banks and soul singer Jaibi.

Raised in Hollis Queens NYC, in a household where music came as natural as breathing, Drumz took to it like a sponge. Getting his knowledge of writing and song structure from his father and his emotional delivery and voice from his mother (Jaibi).

Drumz was offered numerous scholarships to prestigious performing arts schools by the age of 13 but turned them all down. At the age of 14, Drumz lost his mother and become more street oriented. He gave up singing and started releasing his talents through Hip Hop under the stage name CeStyle becoming one of the most respected MC’s on the East Coast. At the age of 21 his father passed and shortly after, Drumz became a member of EPMD’s original Hit Squad as well as MC Serch’s Serchlight Mob (Nas, O.C. and CeStyle & Kamal B Wize better known as the group Total Pack). While in the group Total Pack, Drumz was signed to Columbia Records making history as being the first Hip-Hop artists to be signed to multi album deal without having a demo (the only other artist to do that before him was Janice Joplin who ironically was also signed to Columbia Records). The deal with Columbia didn’t work to Drumz’ advantage due to creative differences between himself and his partner at the time, Kamal B Wise, as well as a lack of guidance and attention from his label but that would not stop his growth. Drumz then signed a solo deal with Wild Pitch/EMI still using the name Total Pack and had 3 songs featured on the classic Wild Pitch Blends promo tape. Wild Pitch eventually lost its distribution with EMI before releasing his album leaving Corey stuck on the label for 2 years without a record being released. Through due diligence, Drumz obtained his release from Wild Pitch relinquishing them of all financial obligations in return for control of his masters. Drumz then went on to release records on various compilation albums with DJ Stretch Armstrong (Stretch Armstrong Presents: Lessons 1 and 2) as well as a various 12″ inch singles. Changing his stage name in 2002 from CeStyle to Corey Drumz, today he is incorporating all of his musical skills to make a unique sound in unmatched by any other artist.

Conceived in 1997 and incorporated in 2004, Iron Kladd Entertainment Inc. was formed out of Drumz’ frustration with many labels that had neither the capability nor the willingness to nurture its Hip Hop artists effectively. After releasing various independent 12″ singles, as well as Mixtapes & Street LP’s under the I.K.E. umbrella Corey felt that the best way for his music and the music of many other emerging artists to reach its fullest potential was to create a vehicle dedicated to that pursuit. I.K.E. and ItsIKESpace.com are 2 of the main components of that vehicle as well as a merchandise line that carries wide a range of I.K.E. & Corey Drumz products from T-Shirts and jackets to sneakers, skateboards and more.
